Since you want any kind of input, I watched a few from work.

To be honest, I don't find them funny. They are great vids, he does a great job, but it's hard to make me laugh or interest me.

Everything I love has to be very off the wall. Like myself.

Heh...

OMG those were funny...

That guy is hillarious. He did a great job on those. That must have taken hours to put together.

Really fun. Thank you for sharing those.

funny. Esp. the first two. It gets a little less funny and a little more strange as the series goes on IMO.

But I love the first couple. very informative for those who don't deal with it everyday. I am thinking about sending it to some of my friends. (or posting it on facebook )

He's funny! But, why the emphasis on no sugar? I mean, the guy is on a pump. If I want a snickers bar I have a snickers bar... and my BG is fine. Or, i guess if it doesn't work for him I'd like him to at least mention that different people with diabetes can get away with eating more or less sugar based on their treatment regime.

Just curious Erin....

Do you think that Diabetics on insulin (as part of their "treatment regime") as you put it, can consider that to be a "free pass" to be able to eat whatever they choose...... Be it a snickers candy bar, hamburger w/ bun, cheetos, etc....?

I think Erin was simply making the point that sugar isn't some foaming at the mouth demon diabetics can't even touch or they'll burst into flames, and that we are able to consume it, and then manage how it affects our body. We all need sugar to live, and the way it is portrayed normally by people, and the media, is we can't eat any of it at all. Fact is, we have to, in some form or another.

I mean we are allow to live a little to, right?

The simple fact is, we can eat anything we want. Whether we should be or not, is another tale.

Obviously our quality of life will be dictated by the quality of the source of our fuel, and it will affect us like it would any person, and as long as we are aware of that, we won't be surprised at any subsequent outcomes.

If I want to junk binge for two days, I'm gonna, because I can, not necessarily because it is good or bad for me.

You're absolutely right Jason....

I just don't want people to think that just because some of us are on insulin, that we can, or are able to, eat anything we choose...

I ate 2 Pepperidge Farm cookies (Bordeaux) which was 1/2 a serving and tested 30 min. later....314!!

I can't even begin to imagine how much I would need to bolus for a Snicker's bar...

I guess this is a classic example of YMMV.....!

Oi

I tried man. I couldn't get past 4.

You can tell he really means well and has tons of energy/confidence, but no restraint.

I couldn't get past 4 of em.

Dude's a bit much to handle. He'd benefit from slowing down the exaggerated comedy and put in more seriousness between outbursts/cuts.

Good quality for youtube tho.
