I recieved my omnipod and accessories.yay!!!!.On Monday 7-6-09. I am meeting with a trainer at my Dr.s office...so I am very excited...I know that there a lot of mixed reviews, but I have been on mdi's for 17 years ,and I started thinking about different types of therapies,to make a long story short..lol.I decided to see what kind of coverage I had from insurance for something like this...and from there it took on a life of its own....I will let you all know how things are going...wish me luck..thanks..I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend.Patti

Hi all,Today I went to my Doctor's appointment and he set up my pdm for the omnipod...It is now after 7pm and I just put on my first pod filled with 100u of insulin...and I am happy to report that all is well so far...I'm really thrilled!!! He programmed in the very basic settings, but the PDM seems like it will be easy to figure out[I hope}lol...talk to you soon,Patti
