why did I think type one would beat type 2 biking?

just a hunch I guess.

Hey you type 1'ers. Many of us type 2's can not inject insulin to cover a high carb meal

Settle down, they're part of the same "team". The sponsor are pretty funny, only two bike-related sponsors, the rest are insulins/products.
