Yes. I've taken the z-pack with no problems since my diagnosis.

Last time I took antibiotics was when I was recovering from surgery that went somewhat wrong back in 2003. They threw my sugars out of whack a bit, but nothing that I would consider uncontrollable.

I'm currently on a 10 day, high dose (4 x 875mg / day), regimen of Amoxicillin. My BG's seem to be running 10 to 15 points lower than normal.

First time in 11 years since DX I've run lower on antibiotics.
