hey all, i've been cruising the forums and was shocked 2 read the cost differences on pump supplies. I pay about 195 for a box of quicksets, 85 on res and those r in a box of 10. i stopped using the sensors because they want 50 each. i also paid 6400.00 on my pump. this is canadain dollars i am talking about. I hav read that people don't pay more that 1800.00 for a pump and can also get grants. Wondering if i am the only 1 getting burned. I don't know anyone with a pump to compare with so just wondering

Those supplies aren't covered under your insurance in Canada? I'm shocked considering any Canadian diabetics I know got their pumps and supplies completely covered. I'm a Yank and my pump and all the supplies are completely covered under my insurance. They'll pay for a new pump every 4 years.

my insurance will only cover one pump every 6 years and i just had 2 buy a new one because it was past the warranty 4yrs. and now my insurance stopped covering the quicksets and res

The quicksets and the resovoirs are cheaper here. I think their about $100 a box $30 for the resovoirs from Minimed's site.
