| | | Taking a nap Hi Everyone,
Something keeps coming up, and I'm hoping that someone will be able to shed some light on this for me. Often when I go to back yard parties, the host will offer the use of one of the bedrooms "if I need to take a nap". Now, am I missing something here? My doctors/educators, etc, never said anything about me needing to take naps throughout the day, what is this all about? I'm sure it's a well-intended bias based on ancient information, kind of like the "sorry, you can't eat that cake 'cause it has sugar" thing, but I just don't know what the nap thing is based on.....anyone know?
Thanks,
Tyna |

| Why complain? You've got an out when things get boring and tedious.
Actually, some people, do get Tired, Runned Down sort of feeling when hitting middle of carb spike after eating, {aprox 1 hour after eating}.
Besides, naps are one of the four basic food groups
Be glad that people care enough to care about you----some folks ain't got people that are caring.
Sort of a Schizophrenic post, oh, well, B/G bouncing around today.

| | In six years at this, no one has offered me a room to nap in!!! (as much as I have asked the various workplaces along the way... "hey, a naproom would be a welcome addition around here".
I get sleepy when I'm low (60ish) and sometimes when I'm high. But you know what? I don't think that either of those occasions is a good time to take a nap!! Before taking a nap, I'd definitely fix the low or the high.
I may be a little cautious, but make sure that someone at a party isn't offering you a "nap"-room for dubious reasons!

| | | Some corporations are offering a "quiet room" to those needing an afternoon refresher; maybe your friends are just trying to embrace an emerging corporate philosophy of taking care of your employees?
