To see a NEW Endo...

I am scheduled to see a New Endo today. Let's see how good this one is.... I wont have to use S.W.A.T tactics with this one, but I plan to screen him from top to bottom. If I need back up , I'll call all of you in (LOL).

Well this Dr. seemed ok. He works directly with the Diabetes Center and is sending me for training at one of the hospitals

He ran all kinds of test, all done right in his office and he also verified that neuropathy would not go away within a month's time. For those of you that are aware of the numbing that I experienced about 11/2 yrs. ago. I still have to confirm whether it was really a slipped disk or neuropathy. I mentioned Apidra and he doesnt see much of a benefit in his opinion for pump users. He recommends it for patients on MDI.

(Keeping my fingers crossed)

I'm glad you had a good experience Cinnabon! I hope that you will be a lot happier w/ this new doc than you were with the last one! (and I'm also very glad to hear you're going to get some real pump training)
