| | | snacks Im having a boy stay over he has diabetes and i want to make sure I have have good snacks and stuff for him, right now all I have is water. lol so any suggestions on what I should pick up at the store. I just want him to be comfortable. any help would be good thanks |

That's the sensible thing. Could add graham crakers as well.
One of the major companies makes pre-packaged PB crackers that are 15 carbs per pkg.
Although, Every once in a while I sneek in some Ice Cream.

| | | Check with the parent's. Kids are not as truthful as you may think, this is from a father of a diabetic daughter, and yes she has fibbed in the past as to what she can or cannot have. Be safe check.

| | I have told a fib here an there to what I was allowed when I was younger  So I think the safest option would be to ask the parents, then you can know for sure.

| | | Also, if you're looking for snacks that won't disrupt his BGs but still taste good, sugar free jello is really great with some whipped cream on top. I think they also make sugar free popsicles that would have little to no calories or carbs in them. And, while it may not seems like a "snack," fresh, raw vegetables like broccoli and celery are also "free." Crystal Light and diet soda would also be good things to pick up. There are some pretty good baking recipies with Splenda, too. Sometimes my mom uses half the amount of sugar and the other half with Splenda, and this helps cut the sugar/carb content.
