| | Is this a good sign Hi I hope everyone remembered to set clocks ahead, and is having a great weekend. I'm hoping that the fact my body is triming down on it's own is a good sign after the first huge weight loss of about 20lbs in about 4 weeks from 221 to 201,I just this week lost another 2-3 lbs. I take this to mean that chances are that my body is reglauting itself (Hope so) as far as my blood sugars are concerned. Just looking for input thanks |

| | Congrats - feels great to lose some of that bulk doesn't it!
How are your BGs, though? If you're running high you could be losing weight from that - not a good way to do it as it means your poor bod is starved of energy.
If your numbers are fine then it's all good! Well done

| | Good Sign I have not started to check on a daily basis as I'm a big wimp w/needles will be picking up a meter this week . My energy levels are great most of the time. In the last week I feel a little more tired nothing bad just a small drop. a friend said that it is like peeling a onion and my body will go through stages were it will cleanse itself. Does the last part hold true. Thanks |

| | | Jedi,
Much props! Sometimes the lbs. can shed when you don't expect them to. Keep it up, you're doing great. If you're on a proper diet, and losing, i'm sure your BG's are good as well. The fact that you feel great, is the best sign of all.
the force is strong w/ you.....

| | | Congrats on your weight loss! Sounds like a good sign to me. I had to join Weight Watchers to lose weight. It seems like I have to pay money or I can't lose weight, lol. So far I'm down 7. Congrats again!

Again thanks. |

| | I've only been in control of my BG levels for about 6 weeks and I'm not "trying" to lose weight either but have lost about 6 pounds this month. I think it's just my body adjusting to my new lifestyle.
Congrats and all that stuff.
I'm also a wimp about testing. Acu-chek sells a cartridge style lancer that they say is "pain free." I wouldn't call it 100% pain free but I will say that about 50% of the time I don't feel the needle. And it's still not bad when I do. It uses cartridges with 5 or 6 needles inside. I likeit because you never actually see the needles. And I'm wimpy about even seeing them. |

| | | Good show, Jedi! Losing weight is the best feeling... I fit into a suit Friday night that hasn't fit me in years!
Do yourself a big favor, and get to testing on a regular basis.

| | | Try to make a game out of the testing ....like guessing what #'s your BG's are at. When the meter counts down 5,4,3,2,1 it's like the ball dropping @ Times Square, minus the confetti and strangers kissing you.......or i could just say toughen, but that wouldn't be a nice thing to say.
