short needle injections

I have been on Lantus for 16 days - mostly using sample needles Dr gave me.. I just received new supply in mail - ultra fine short - now these are different length than I have been using... I was shown to inject at an angle (these were longer needles and easy to do) now with these short needles do I continue to inject at an angle or go straight in

When I was on Lantus, I used the 29 gauge, 12.7mm syringes, and I injected straight into my thigh.

Before switching over to the pump, I was injecting using the BD mini's.......a bit smaller than the ultra fine. I went straight in! Good luck!

I use the Ultra Fine II short needles from BD when I inject. Always straight in for me...
