Unhappy Feels like flu

Does anyone else ever have a day about once every month that almost feels like the flu. My BS numbers are good even on that day my BP is also good. It just feels like I am nauseated and feel sick. It only last for a day but I have it about once a month. Is this diabetes related? UCK!

I would doubt it seriously Gabby, but it could have something to do with being female. That is a definite.

I would start charting that day on your calendar and see if there is a pattern.

You know, the past 24 hours have been exactly like that for me. I feel much better now, but all day yesterday, and most of the day today, I felt like I was going to throw up. I also felt feverish. Last night, I couldn't get warm, no matter how many blankets I got under. Woke up today with a very stuffy nose, and coughing up thick phlegm.

I agree with Nancy, chart it. Notate it. If you haven't already started using it, Diabuddies.com has an area that you can chart your BGL and make notes about your exercizes, meds, etc. I am already using it.

I just took my BGL, and it was 232. While that's still high, it's the lowest number I have had in the past week. I was so excited.

Regards,

Darian

Good. I have been dealing with what I call the "PM Phenomenon" for the past couple of years. That is, in the late afternoon, everyday, I develop a mild fever. It usually spikes between 99.5 and 100.5. Not high enough to be debilitating, but high enough to make me feel icky.

I am not sure if it could be related to my BGLs or not. As I get my BGLs under control, I'll be interested to see how it is effected.

I am documenting everything I'm dealing with right now. I want to be able to present my doc with as much information as I can to ensure I'm on the best treatment plan that's available for me.

Regards,

Darian
