If your usual numbers are 250-400, I think you need more of those diabetes drugs!

You are usually dangerously high and you pig out at a retaurant? Um, I think it's time to get a handle on things.

I'd say it would depends on what you ate...a BIG steak, salad and steamed veggies would probably bother your blood sugar less than a small burger on bun with fries.

Or, you may have just gotten lucky...or maybe not...what was your 2 hr post-meal #s? That's the true litmus test on how you're doing.

Depends on what you did during the day (all day doing yard work, riding a bike marathon) and what you ate while out.

If you are usually 250-400 you need to seek medical attention fast and get it under control, ASAP! That was where I was and was put on meds. You may still feel ok, but your body is harming itself.
Diagnosed 2006 ... Put on meds Dec 07 ... accepted it Jan 08

      Metformin 2000 mg (1000MG x2daily)
Glipizide 5mg (10 mg if needed)
      Simvastatin 20 mg
      asprin 81 mg
