Bells Palsy and diabetes

I had Bells Palsy last summer.. horrible experience.. anway, I recovered.. but, I notice when I am out in the cold that my face paralyzes on the side of the BP was on. Is this forever a problem I will face. It is so bad my speech is slurred. Also, I am still having spasms around my eye from it. The cold thing though scares me. I am afraid it is coming back.

I had this in high school...if that side of your face gets to cold then it will "freeze up". Cover your face when you go outside. Mine was a slight case but was still scary. I couldn't "pucker up" or close my mouth all the way to eat and couldn't suck from a straw.
