T2 or Pre???

So my numbers have been really good lately. Since I was newly Dx I'm trying to figure out if maybe... just maybe I'm not a T2 (yet) and really a Pre? According to my One Touch Ultra II, my "average" morning numbers are 93 and my 2 hr numbers are around 130, "average". Those numbers along with my A1C number in February of 5.6 seem not to bad? Or maybe I'm on a great honeymoon? I've been eating right and exercising daily which I don't intend on changing. I called my doctor and he said to do a test at home by loading up on carbs and testing to see what those numbers are both before and 2 hours after. So I was thinking to be more of a controlled test does anyone know where I can get one of those Glucose Tolerance drinks? I looked on line and they sell them in cartons of 12 , I only need one.

I really can't get into the doctors at this point, still cannot get insured.

So what do you think about the numbers and if I can buy just one drink?

Find out how many gms of sugar are in the glucola
(50 gms from what i've seen online)...and then drink something with that many gms of sugar in it, then test at 30 minutes, one hr, 2 hr and 3 hr after drinking it.

Thank you both... I've seen 50, 75 and 100 online and will try to find something with that much sugar. I guess they're also around 10 oz too?

I was told to load up on carbs and drink a coke Gees I haven't had a real coke for years now, even before I was Dx I stopped drinking coke.

Good idea to test 3 times to get a curve.
