| Metformin helps with insulin resistance, allowing your body to better use the insulin it is producing...a by product of that being that we're less hungry so we'll eat less and lose weight.
However, I think in my case i'll often substitute "allowable" foods but still eat more calories/or bigger portion than I should, hence the weight lingers.
