| | | Welcome Weelum! Glad you found the forum. Read up on the older posts and ask lots of questions. There's great information to be found here.
Do you test your blood sugar often? Do you watch your carbs?

| | | Welcome weelum! Whereabouts in bonnie Scotland are you? My first wife had family in Glasgow and I used to love driving the single track roads up and over the highlands to the coast... Isle of Skye... beautiful! And then out of a misty grey days coming upon a beach with the clearest blue water and white sands... good memories! I'd drive all the way around to John O'Groats and then down through the whisky trail...
You've certainly come to the right place if you have questions. Do you test your own blood sugar? What are you most bewildered about?

We know how it can feel when you have diabetes, the initial shock, anger, denial, the confusion about what it means for your life now and for the future, sometimes you just wish it would go away.
Coming to terms with your diabetes means understanding it and managing it, that's where the DF, plays that important role, there's a wealth of information and support on the DF to help you manage your diabetes, you're not on your own, so keep posting.
