| 60 minutes and diabetes Greetings from California! CBS 60 minutes had a "cure"
for diabetes, which involved the excision of the
duodenum, as was done for obese patients, who discovered
in short time that, although their purpose at the hospital was
to lose weight through a stomach bypass.
What is incredulous to me is that the next day there was
mention of it in the press across the US. Only on the internet
can one find any information about it.
Does anybody know why there is not mention of this ,
nor of the cancer cure 60 Minutes did the week before.
In my family, there are 2 pharmacists, my wife and my
brother-in-law, and they both say that the information
was squelched by the drug companies. It is hard for me to
agree with them. Can any of you proffer a reason for this?
