Cortizone in my foot today

I had 2 shots cortizone in my right foot today for the authoritis. I am hoping I will be able to do much more walking now. So watch those pounds fly

Seriously say a prayer that my BG stays stable and does not jump around all over the place with the 2 shots.

Is it tendonitis, then? Is it enough cortisone to make your BG go up?

Not to worry Janlaton. I also had several cortisone shots in my feet a few months ago. I had a problem with swelling after surgery last year and finally my doc decided the shots may help. The swelling did go down and my blood sugar seemed totally unaffected by the shots. I had two to three done in each foot.

NO combination of arthritis and bone spurs. The doc warned that my bgs would probably spike this morning. But guess what if 102 is a spike I'll take it!
