| | | Y'know, I've been wondering about the Glucerna stuff, myself. Don't think I'll try it. I do drink the occasional EAS Carb Control shake, though. They are a little pricey, but have lots of protein and satisfy the chocolate craving. They have, like 4 or 5 grams of carbs.
I probably eat more convenience type foods than a lot of people. If I had a larger kitchen, I'd cook more. I love to cook, but it just isn't very practical in my galley kitchen.

| | I like the EAS shakes as well....reminds me of a Yoo-hoo drink (southerners know what i'm talking about) . They are very convenient...I get the BIG boxes at Sam's....cheaper that way.
Chocolate fudge is my favorite.

| | | Thank you so much for this thread! I just noticed this product line in a recent advertising flyer, and when I spotted the "diabetic" on the product I did a second read. The price, even on sale Was $15.99 Cdn. for 12 of the Glucerna Liquid that are 250ml each. With a limit of 2 per customer...wowza. I think I'll let them gather dust on the store shelf. I'm not much on those prepackaged things anyhow.

| | | The EAS shakes DO taste a lot like Yoo-Hoo, now that you mention it, Linda. I knew they were familiar tasting, but couldn't place it. Yep, Yoo-Hoo. Definitely. Did you know Yoo-Hoo was invented in Mississippi and they sell a banana flavor there that is very popular? Turns my stomach to think about banana flavored Yoo-Hoo, but my hubby loves the strawberry kind. Ugh. Heh.
