How many carbs per slice?

Many many many breads "whole wheat" or otherwise have 14-21g(+!) carb per slice due to the HFCS content.

Then you might look at your cheese .. was it real, american, process? How many slices time X carbs? I've noticed that some of the process cheeses have a carb count due to binders.

How about the ham? Many hams have some sort of sugar in their curing, what was the carb count on that?

So looking at it from the outside that grilled cheese sandwich has the potential for anywheres from 30-60g carb .. OUCH!

Last time I looked "awsomely low" and "back up" are not number that can be analysed. actual numbers would be a lot more helpful. What you consider high or low may not be in line with what we are thinking.

I only eat "low carb" bread nowdays - 4-7 net carbs/slice. Some taste better than others. Orowheat (sp?) Light Wheat seems to work well for me.

You say your bs was "awesomely low" in the morning...then you tell us what you had for dinner. What about between those times? Did you have carbs with other meals? Did you check your bs between then & dinner?

If you didn't have carbs, possibly you went too low & your liver did a glucose dump. If you did have carbs, what makes you think the sandwich was the culprit? More info helps us give better opinions.
