Excuse me, what do you mean by "250iu Humulin" ? That can't be a normal unit of insulin. You indicate that you take 2,400 ius a day. That would be almost 2 and a half insulin vials. You would have be dead a long time ago, were that the case.

I think we are getting into personal issues here and not helping the original poster. Come on folks lets go back read the original request for information and see if we can help the person doing the asking.

I know people think I do not always eat right. But how do they know when they see me with a piece of candy that I had not just stuck my finger for a reading of 45? They assume I am gorging on chocolate which is not so. They also assume it is regular not sugar free. Yes, on occasion I do eat a bite or two of an item that is not the best for me. But I admit I reap the consequences and have to exercise more. So get a life and help others not split hairs on what we are trying say.
