I am type 2 diabetic. It took 1 1/2 years but I lost 70 lbs.
I am 5" 6" and went from 239 lbs to 165 lbs.
First, I got my doctor to prescribe Lunesta so I could sleep the night through. Otherwise, I woke up 6 or 7 times a night and each time, I would eat something. I also have someone who cooks and portions meals into containers that go from freezer, to microwave, to table. He gives me a good portion of meat, a small amount of carbs, and plenty of vegetables such as cauliflower, brussel sprouts, broccoli, zucchini.
I am also excercising 3 times a week at local gym.
Since the weight loss, my A1C is 5.7 and my blood pressure is also at normal levels. Before the weight loss, my A1C was at 7.00.
