allright, this one is a technicality. sorry if it turns some people off.

I eat glimpremide and avanidia. however, my glimpremide pills have metformin in them too. It's glimpremide "reinforced" with metformin kind of thang. So, how many meds am I on? 2 or 3?

Technically, i'd say you're on three meds, in the form of two pills. If you weren't on the combo medication, you'd be taking Amaryl, metformin and Avandia.

Depends what you want the answer for. From a medical sense you are on three medications, but for monetary purposes (like insurance) you are on two.
