Neuropathy and electro stimulation

Hello,

I've been away for a while so I'm sorry if this is a recent topic that I missed.

I have neuropathy in my legs and my physical therapist has had me doing a light therapy routine - 3x a week I sit and have a Solaris machine stimulate the nerves in my feet and lower legs.

My question is whether this therapy has helped anyone else, and if so, in what ways did you notice a difference?

Also, does anyone do any other kind of electro-stimulation? There is a machine I can for home, so that I could do it on my own time, but it is expensive and I would like to know if the concept is even once to consider.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Rachel
