pins and needles....

Just need to take a sec to say this...

Tired of being a pin-cushion - anyone else feel this way sometimes?

- Tired of 8+ finger sticks daily ...
- Tired of needles in the stomach..
- Tired of the occasional blood-stain on my shirt..
- Tired of the constant ritual of hypodermics and pen needles..
- Tired of having to pay attention to every freakin' carb...

Ok...there...I'm done for now ;-)

Yea we all get tired of it at sometime. You have had it 5 years. Try 34+ years. I just figure it is the way to stay healthy. Sure beats the alternative. I have reduced my sticks somewhat because of the pump and now the CGMS system but I always have at least 2 things stuck in me 24/7. The momentary sticks are easy compared to this.

-lol... you are right there amigo ;-)

BTW - your sig says..."Bike miles this year: 2259 miles" Zoinks, man - that is some nice pedal time. I just became a convert this year too and am looking forward to logging a small fraction of that - you are hard-core ;-)

I don't think anyone ever gets used to it. I'm new at it and, after being squirmish the first few times, I've convinced myself that I've gotten used to it - until my turn to rant arrives .
