| | | The nutritionist at my diabetes education class recommended Fiber One. Since I am allergic to one of the ingredients I substitute All Bran. Personally I would rather get my fiber from eating fresh fruits and veggies.

| | | For breakfast every morning I have steel cut oatmeal, ground flax seeds and some kind of fruit, either apples or frozen/fresh berries. Sometimes instead of (or in addition to) the flax I add chia seeds, which don't need to be ground. Lots of soluble fiber as well as Omega 3 oils.

| | Fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds (but I've not tried flax seeds yet as they are not widely available where I live and those that are available I find quite expensive), and cereals.
I've looked into various supplements (pills, liquids, even shakes), but I don't see how they are better than food. Plus, they don't taste as good as fresh food. |

| | | I use the walmart sugar-free orange powdered stuff .. its cheap and right now thats a primary focus for me.
However with my new numbers I'm hoping to start adding some low GI veggies and reducing my fiberTang consumption.

| | | Have you tried sugar free high fiber muffins? You may want to give Miracle Muffins www.miraclemuffins.com - Diabetic Sugarfree Muffins They pack 7-9 grams of fiber in each muffin with only 3 grams of fat and less than 100 calories. They have 5-7 grams of non-fiber carbs. They are sugar free and they come in 7 flavors: banana, blueberry, black cherry, chocolate black cherry, chai spice black tea, cinnamon green tea and gingerbread. |

| | | Fibre 1 That is what my dietician recommended and I eat a small portion for breakfast everyday. Must have it with 6-8 almonds for protein and a full glass of water to wash it down. Seems to give me good results. |
