| | | Supplys, New at all this. Hello, not sure if this sounds strange or not, but what do your supply containers look like, or hold?? I have this about 15X10 inch plastic container with everything I need & have, It's about 10 inches deep. I'm always digging through it to find what I need. It's not a mess but big & full. Would you share what your containers look like & hold. Thank You.

| | | My computer desk is my container. Atop the computer tower I have a roll of Scott toilet paper that I use for alcohol swabbing and to blot the insulin test fluid off my insulin pen before I inject. Next to my computer tower I have a bottle of Centrum Silver vitamins and my other three meds I take with breakfast. Below, on the shelf to my right, I have a box of pen needles, my SoloStar insulin pen, a box of BD lancets, my Breeze2 meter, lancing device & lancets in the little baggy that came in the test kit, and two boxes of Breeze2 test strips. On the floor under the shelf I've got a sharps container to drop my pen needles, lancets and test strips into. Next the sharps container I have a wastepaper basket to toss all the **** I get in the mail that has to do with Social Security, Medicare, Health Net, and all the other stuff I get sent regarding this diabetes club I've recently joined.

| | | 15.3 to 6.3 you must eat right, wish I could or would. It's been hard getting the hang of all this, & I'm still not there. Eating being the big one. I was 12.9 & I go In to see my Dr. day after thanksgiving. Pray my # are down. I take 12 units. I started with 8. I started 10-1-09 & I hate it. |

| | | Are you on Insulin? Because that actually makes a difference as far as the amount of stuff you have to cary.
I use the small cloth-ish black bag that came with my OneTouch Mini to carry around my test strips, meter, and about 10 fresh Lancets, as well as the lancing device. That's all I have to carry with me, though. When I take the "cap" off of one of the lancets (that I change about monthly, or bi-weekly), I put that cap back on the "used" one, and place it in a different pouch in that carry-on. I keep it there until I can put it in one of my used test-strip containers to dispose of.
I'm sure that's not the best way, but it makes it easier for me.

Autumn Robin | I use a leather back pack, it is small, it opens pretty wide and I can find everything easliy. I searched for 3-years for just the right bag, I must have changed 15 times LOL
