What foods react bady now.

Being new to this game I am slowly learning which foods just simply no longer agree with me. It seems that my body now strongly objects to pork in any form, no longer tolerates diet pepsi (used to drinking 4 cans a day) fried anythiing send sme running.
I now understand my wifes aversions during pregnancy.

Is this normal?
What are your new aversions?

Thanks
Steve

What medication are you on? Metformin for example has profound gastrointestinal side effects For me, these varied depending on what I ate and eventually eased (took 3 1/2 months in my case!)

Medication - Metformin 850mg x 3; Pioglitazone (Actos) 30mg x 1; Gliclazide 160mg x 2; plus stuff for hypertension & cholesterol with Aspirin E/C for the cardio/vascular system

I have to keep smiling - there's no other choice - but I do growl occasionally

Steve, for a while I couldn't have dairy products and Metformin at the same time. I must be careful still too! Depends of what?!? I have no clue.

I also have probs with sugary foods... which is a good thing come to think of it! If and when I do have a biscuit or something, I will suffer from nausea.

I try my best not to have too many carbs for supper and now bread, pasta, and rice taste a 100 times better than ever before. I could just cry.

Strange, isn't it?
