If this is a meal you usually eat w/o problems and it's suddenly causing problems i'd wonder A) Could you be getting sick?
B) Has your diabetes progressed to the point where you may need to avoid that particular food or have a medication adjustment? C) Is this a fluke? I'd try it again tomorrow and see if your results are the same...one time does not make a trend.
The frequent urination and thirst is because your #'s are running so high.
T2, diagnosed 8/31/06.

HCTZ 12.5 mg every other day for BP
Enalapril 20 mg 1 daily (ace-inhibitor)
Lower carb dieter (approx. 75 total carbs/day, more on weekends), taking chromium, multivitamin and fish oil tablets

11/06: 6.2.

05/08: 6.2 (after dealing with shingles & bronchiti)
2/09: 5.5
5/10: 5.8 (home test)
