Hi Gang,
Just came back from my first visit with a new primary doctor, took my BP and it was at 140 over 100, then he finger stuck knowing that I didn't have anything to eat prior nor any Januvia plus my usual 5 mg Glyburide. So after a brief of what had happened that put me in the ER 4 times between 2 months he suspected something a cardiologist thought also when she administered a stress test, over medication.
I complained to the doctor that I also felt the same and that the over medication from the previous doctor had put me in the ER in the first place. I told him that the current meds are sorta tolerable but when he saw the finger stick result of 143 he said its close to normal but still high but insisted that the 100 mg of Januvia a day and a 5mg of Glyburide was way too strong and advised to cease taking it.
Has anyone taking both meds before and what are the pros and cons of both??
I am starting Glucovance (?) and 50 mg of Cozaar in 2 days due to money issues. Any feedback would greatly help.
Daniel
