| | | For what it's worth...I get sleepy when my bg is elevated. Also, my skin feels kind of prickly like little pins are being stuck in it. I am T1.

DISCLAIMER: The following words are not medical advice but experience.
When my bg's are running high, I tend to get pretty severe headaches. These headaches are worse than what I experience at times when low. As I have said before, right after diagnosis, I was put on the wrong course of treatment and was continually out of control for a year. I was having constant headaches and always had to have a nap after school.. So, what you are experiencing could very well be diabetes related. The only sure fire way to know is to consult your doctor as soon as you can. One question I have is this and I'm sorry if I missed this in a previous report: How long have you been diagnosed with type 2? Also, how long have your #'s been high and how high?

| | I would also say that they are connected. Often when I am high, I get very sleepy and drowsy..if it gets extremely high then I do experience headaches at times. Also, when I am low, there have been times that the headaches also occur. Not fun, I know
As Rz would say one of the "joys of Diabetes" :p
