Back on line - and still breathing

First off, thanks for all the prayers and well wishes, it helps to know that there are other folks thinking about you at these times.

Well the angio gave me both good news and bad news. The good news is there is nothing in there that needs to be repaired right away, the bad news is that sometime in the next 5 to 10 years I will definetely be getting a bypass.
Ah well, we just keep trucking.

On a good note I saw my GP today for amy monthly checkup on the diabetes and weighed in at 191 on the docs scale, that means I am down 25 lbs since January. Doc figures if I can lose another 20 lbs I should be able to get off the meds.

Thanks All
Steve

Hi Steve,

Welcome back and congratulations! Let's hope the weight loss keeps going well. Who knows, by the time you reach that 5 to 10 year mark maybe you won't need the bypass.

Travis

I was just wondering today how all of that was going for you. Like Travis said, you may not even need that by-pass in 5-10 years. Keep doing what you're doing.

Good news Steve--It may be a blessing in disguise, at least you know, and knowing is half the battle! I'm glad you are better.

Hello Steve and welcome back! Congrats on losing so much weight!! You must be relieved you don't need to go under the knife at this point. Keep on taking good care of yourself and who knows in a few years...?

The very best to you,
