So what do you all think of these numbers the past few weeks for me?

Ok, so I have been watching what I eat the last few weeks. I have also been testing what spikes me and what doesn't. These are my daily numbers since I started this all. Morning are before breakfast. Evening is 2 hrs after supper.

Great Job!! I'd say you are definitely on the right track, and it these lower numbers keep up you will have a lower A1C. When I started LC I did miss bread at first, but do not miss it now. SO many cravings disappear on a LC diet. Keep up the good work!

Hey - the numbers speak for themselves! Good job!

So to follow this thread up a bit more, I bought one of those Bayer A1C kits, and just a few minutes ago, went through the process according to the DVD that came with it.

It gave me a result of 6.9 !!!

Now hopefully this test kit will be fairly accurate so when I see my Endo on Monday, it will be close to that number.

And yes, I do plan to carry on as I have started, thanks to all the help I have found on this forum. Carb Counting, Exercise, keeping a schedule on my meds.

Thank you all for the well wishes too !!! I hope I can continue this trend for the rest of my life, now that you all have given me the tools to work with.

That looks a lot better Jim. I too started really counting carbs and seen just how much that changes my numbers. I never realized what a few pcs of bread was doing to me

Oh yes it does feel good. This is just by watching my carb intake, not even at the counting stage yet. Still have to learn a bit more about it. but it sure does feel good seeing these numbers as they are. It gives me incentive to keep going !!
