Welcome to Diabetes Forums dross!

I was hooked up to my pump on Christmas Day of 2001. I have also had type one since 1986. So I guess we have both been at this for awhile.

Glad you found us and joined in! Congrats on your new pump!

Ahh Guinness - not my tipple im ashamed to say !! (I prefer the Vodka and Diet Coke).

I find the pump the best thing ever - HbA1c went from 7.8 to 5.9 in a couple of months. Id highly recommend it.

...Do I work in aluminium - eh! No... (I dont geddit - is it a joke going over my head)??

... As for my 3 year old daughter - she is nuts - ill post a pic as soon as I figure out (A bit of a tecnophobe here)!

Hi and Welcome to DF... glad you found us!

Dross - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Quote:
Dross is a mass of solid impurities floating on a molten metal bath. It appears usually on the melting of low melting point metals or alloys such as tin, lead, zinc or aluminum, or by oxidation of the metal(s).
Sorry... that isn't very flattering
