Grrr.

After getting my basals perfect (again!), I have to switch them up (AGAIN). I feel like every other day I am adjusting something! Yesterday, the basals that normally keep me in the 80-120 range held me over pretty well, but I had a few spikes to the 140-160 range too. (I did my normal exercise and diet stuff, nothing out of the ordinary.) I upped them slightly and know an extra unit or two of Humalog a day won't make me gain weight, but I get so frustrated. I mean, I take the insulin anyway, it's just stressful recovering from an ED to add more insulin in as a factor. I'm at or under 30 units a day, between basals and boluses--and small corrections to bring me back into the tight range.

Sorry, just needed to vent. Does anyone else find their basals so temperamental?
