Feet numbness.

3 posts in this topic

Hello, I am a diabetic type 1 for 37 years and it looks like I am getting neuropathy. My feet are numb and tingly. Last year this only happened when my sugar was high but know is pretty much all the time. I don't want to take Cymbalta because of the side effects. What can I do to relieve this? Alternative treatments?

I have a similar issue with my feet and use skin creams “designed” for diabetics - Diabetiderm and Diabet Aid. Provides some calming relief but definitely not a cure. Also, definitely, prevents dried heals, helps heal cracks , and softens skin.

The only long-term solution there is getting your A1C down to normal levels.
