While a positive value seems to prove one is LADA, a negative one doesn’t really seem to prove anything. So I guess I'll periodically keep on checking. Back to post-Thanksgiving carnage....

Mine was negative as well, but according to my nurse people are miss diagnosed 30% of the time they say someone is type 2.

My endo also confirmed that you can still be LADA and have negative score on anti bodies.

So one has to take other things in to consideration.

As for me, the contious wheight reduction in spite of going on 3500 low carb calories a day, having zero energy and a very low c-peptide score even though my FBG was high, clearly shows a lack of insulin production.

I might still have some insulin sensitivity issues going on, but the lack of insulin in my body and non effectiveness of typical type 2 meds shows something else is going on.
Most likely I am LADA. And insulin ha improved everything, so it seems accurate enough.
