I like this porridge in the morning:
I use unsweetened almond milk and a little truvia(1/2) packet. It's good with water as well.
It raises my bs about 25 points. I control with diet/exercise.
2 Tablespoons Ground Golden Flax
1 Heaping Tablespoon Rice Bran
1 Tablespoon Wheat Germ
1 Tablespoon Wheat Bran
1 Cup Warm or Cold Milk (or Water)
Raisins' date=' Cinnamon, Cream, Sweetener
Mix dry ingredients well, then add the liquid.
Remember, for diabetics use low carbohydrate milk, and a sugar substitute, preferably Stevia."[/quote']
