Hi, was wondering if anyone else is suffering from hypo's in pregnancy, I am not on a pump just injections. I have only been type 1 for 18 months and during the last 11 weeks things have been pretty good. The last 10 days my blood sugars have gone low, reduced my insulin but getting frustrated and tired. Had to miss work a couple of times and now it feels like the pressure is now on at work...which isnt helping! Any advice welcome!

Hi Gillian,

I've heard that very severe hypos are actually quite common in the first trimester of pregnant t1's and then in the thrird trimester your BGLs completely go the other way.

It's really important to seek advise from your Diabetes Educator and/or Endo. You need to closely monitor and manage your diabetes through this delicate and crucial stage.

Stay strong and take extra special care of yourself.

Sending you a big ((((HUG))))
