Hello. I am currently 33 weeks pregnant, and I have noticed that my blood sugars are running low often. Did anyone notice the closer they got to the end of their pregnancy, that they had to decrease insulin intake? I have been on an uphill climb up until this week, and now I just can't keep my sugars very high.....any advise would be helpful!!

Hmm. I was only getting low in my third trimester from overbolusing and trying to keep in really tight control. It might be that you adjusted your basals for some hormone surges and now need to reduce again. For me, being in very precise control (or trying to be), my doctor was insistant that I really try to reduce my lows in my third trimester. I worked really hard at this in my second pregnancy and made it my goal. What have you tried? What are you eating?

Congratulations and hope you and your little one are doing well.
