Are they even pretending this dude attacked an officer? Or is being beaten just the standard procedure for people who crash their car now?

Someone I knew very well would get violent and threatening when his sugar dropped severely. I suppose thatthis man could have become aggressive and could lead to an officer defending himself at first, but what this article describes sounds way-way-way more than what would be needed to subdue someone. Plus the fact that the guy crashed his car should have clued them in that he was undergoing some sort of medical problem.

Oh yeah, they pepper sprayed him when he was still in the car. How threatening could he be to deserve the pepper spray while still in the car?

 

My husband gets rather road-ragey when his BG is running high, not low.

Years ago I believe in 'innocent until proven guilty'. Nowadays it seems reversed, guilty until proven either innocent or dead, dead being the more convenient.
