Metformin and pregnancy

Recommended Posts

I asked my doctor that recently, and she said yes. She did say that some doctors will take you off of it, but it's been used during pregnancy for a long time.

So - I'm sure it depends on your individual health and situation.

I really think it depends on why you are taking it, kit. As a type one, I heard it helped with weight loss so I decided to try it. It did nothing for me, no help with weight, no help with blood sugar. If you have a combo of type one and insulin resistance and it is helping keep your blood sugar down then it is probably better to keep your glucose lower.
