Curious about Royal Jelly and Essiac Tea.....anyone tried these?

Some guy I met yesterday was talking to me about herbal supplements. He was suggesting I try Royal Jelly and Essiac tea. Has anyone here tried these?

Don't know what Essiac tea is. Royal jelly is made by honey bees and fed to larvae and to the queen bee. It is probably a highly nutritious equivalent to honey. If you are diabetic, and I assume you are since you are here on this site, royal jelly will spike you. No matter how many nutrients it contains, it is still a form of honey. But you are welcome to test, eat some royal jelly, then test 1 and 2 hours afterwards and report your results to us here. I'm willing to keep an open mind. :D

Does "this guy" know you are diabetic? Is this guy knowledgeable about diabetes and your particular situation?
