And Ela, I did like the Miracles video from Adam L. I missed it at the end of 2012.

I don't know if you realized that Terri Nunn from the Romance video was the lead singer for Berlin. They broke up after they did the soundtrack to Top Gun, but their first three albums were really good. She still looks and sounds great.

And the NC native Tyler Nail. You'll never hear him on the radio because he can't seem to play a song that is less than 7 minutes long.

Todd, can you pick up WNCW  radion where you live?  I have heard him there.

I don't know. I'll look into it. He plays a lot in the area, and at a place in Jamestown called The Turntable, so I get to see him a few times a year. But I'll check on that station. Thanks.

I've been listening to a lot of modern folk the last couple years; here are a few I can't get off my recently viewed list:

Brown Bird - Danger and Dread

The Tallest Man on Earth - Lost My Shape (David Bazan Cover)

John Davey - Grand Emporium

Edit: figured out how to embed the videos

I guess that anyone who like to pep up themselves is to listen to Music as I think that Music moves the Soul. :)

And that's any style of music. Even the Unborn has feeling towards music.!!! What's not to love?

Sigh! I wish I could make a living singing but I'm just not good enough. I can sing but not good enough for it to be my day job.

My music ambition in life is to sing with Metallica and be the soprano in an opera. Next to that is to be able to play the piano (hmm, not happening soon). The third one is to play the Cajon (I'm more positive about this).

I love all sorts of music as along as it's made well, and if it involves a singer, the singer can sing and perform.

I hadn't heard of Playing for Change.  Thanks Janet, that was awesome!  I definitely am a rocker, too, but just seem to be on a folk kick at this moment.

Damien Jurado - Ohio (live on Daytrotter, lyrics/audio only)

Obadiah Parker - Hey Ya (Outkast Cover)

Clem Snide - Faithfully (Journey Cover)

Be  real careful, I along with several of my friends that used to listen to real loud music now have "ringing in the ears" that WONT go away. It came on suddenly, woke up one morning and had it. It showed up in our late 40's-early 50"s. Its called Tinnitus and our delicate ears do revolt to LOUD music.
