Apple Crisps

Slice whole apples into 4mm thick slices and lay in a single layer on  baking paper lined trays.

Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon & bake at 110C/ 230F for 2 hours turning  after one hour until dried.

Can be stored in an airtight container up to 2 months



Not sure if baking these would reduce the carb content of the apple.

A crisp or 2 would be nice with yogurt or a better alternative to a cookie.

I ran across a recipe somewhere for mock fried apples that used zucchini.

I wonder if you could use a similar method with this.  I'll have to search it out at some point.
