Home A1C test.

I just wanted to pass on my experimental results.  I bought one of those ReliOn home A1c tests at Walmart.  The result (5.8) matched the results from a LabCorp test.

I'm not trying to plug ReliOn.  You never know, this could be a fluke.

I would actually like to hear from others who have tried various types of monitors and gauged them against lab tests.

My ReliOn Prime BG monitor usually tests 5 to 10 points higher than my Accu-Chek Aviva.  I don't know which is more accurate, but they both seem to be fairly consistent.

I've used that same A1C test kit several times and found it to be pretty accurate.

was this the instant A1C kit they have or the one you have to send into the lab for results? one of these days i'd like to try one just to see how accurate it is compared to the A1C machine at the doctor's office.
