Holy Ketones Batman!

I woke up this morning with a (fasting) ketone reading of 4.4! According to this chart:

I'm in the territory of diminishing returns. Actually, I think I'm normally within the "ideal" range of 1.5 to 3.0. Two questions:

 

1) Yesterday I donated plasma - do you think that made an impact?

2) What's the highest ketone reading you've ever taken?

My highest ever was 7.9 mmoles/dl measured as BHB. Like you, I am defined as pre diabetic.

1. No idea

2. 5.6. But it was after lunch, not fasting.

BTW: I estimate that my GKI is around 2 at fasting and less than 1 after meals.
