Carbs affect on following day's numbers

Recommended Posts

apostasy

Anyone notice that if they cheat or overdo it on carbs, your numbers are ok the day of, but really suffer the next day?

It makes me wonder if there's a better way to "count carbs".  My numbers stay in control as long as I kept the carbs low (below 80) the day before.

My approach is to keep my carb intake at a consistantly level rate, as I do my eating pattern.

i do not expect or plan to have high carb days. That is how I mange things.

I am feeling a bit disconnected from this discussion.

at diagnosis I was an out of control T2 way out of control

well controlled now, so if I "cheated" not my term and abused my body by consuming too many carbs, I would expect to pay they price with higher numbers.

The only person I cheated on was me!

plus 9 years in on a LCHF way of eating,

high carb food is really Not apealing.

There so so much great food to eat that won't destroy your numbers.

Bottom line what ever you eat shows up in your numbers.

Just Finished a delicious dinner. BG 92 it won't spike later either.
