Chinese style Roast Pork

I found a nice pork belly and had a 2nd go at this recipe.  Turned out perfect.  One thing I learned is that you really have to pinprick the skin to get it to bubble and crisp up.


It also makes a mess in the oven but it is worth the cleaning effort.


I think next time, I will try Mexican seasoning for something different.

I'm told the convection ovens make the best pork crackling .

I dont eat pork so cant confirm it but I do like these ovens.

Cleaning them is a breeze.. wipe out juices, add water & detergent & turn the knob to " wash" .
