2019 Morning Fasting BG Readings

Recommended Posts

meyery2k

The past couple of days I have been riding in the morning to beat the heat.  I also enjoy starting at oh dark thirty and watching the world wake up as dawn breaks.

In this case, the early bird caught the fish.  These fish are being auctioned off to the local stores and restaurants.  Most of it will likely become sushi, sashimi, or poke.

No one slicing up sashimi in the morning?     117 today and 113 at afternoon glass of wine.

Yesterday I kept checking the radar online waiting for a break in the rain to take the boy to the park.

Cars kept pulling up with dogs leaping out & running into the park. Drivers would get out & say they'd checked the radar before leaving home.

I recalled the dogs of times past  that didnt have the luxury of the internet but not many dogs those days had leash free parks in which to socialise.

Tied yesterday's reading of 124

Today is starting out at 39 (4C) and is supposed to go to the upper 70s (25C) or to look at it another way... from winter jacket weather to shorts and tank top weather in five hours.

. . . . If I just go ahead and apply the lime now, I'l have to mow the lawn in a week or so, so the lime will get thrown around, and won't stay where I need it to stay.  If I apply the lime, then it rains the next day, then the lime will dissolve and sink into the soil.  Oh, well, I'll just have to wait...

Hammer, Could you spread the Lime and then give the ground a good watering?  I understand not watering as my faucet would require connecting two hoses to reach the plants to which I 'carry' water. The hoses are heavy and too much effort to deal with on a day to day basis. I fill 1 gallon plastic jugs and carry them. On the edge of the yard are 6 trees/bushes that I am watering. Even though it involves walking back and forth and carrying 2 full jugs at a time, the job gets done quicker and simpler that way. At least the plants are thriving. Happily we got a good soaking yesterday afternoon. I was so glad to see it I 'almost' ran around in it.  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

104. We had a bit more than a soaking. About 10" yesterday and pouring again today. But I'm high and dry. Just have to go out between squalls to drop the pool level so it won't overflow into the garage.

94 here

Coworker brought new puppy into work today.  I'm teaching her how to play fetch.  She's so adorable and floofy as she bounces for the ball and bounces her way back to me.  :D
